Applications
‘Back to Black’ sweeping combines the deep cleaning ability of a road sweeper, with a high-pressure water system, to remove staining and debris from any hard road surface. The Magnum 82 SV’s high pressure water pump configuration, and powerful rear suction nozzles, are optimised to deliver a fully replenished road with a ‘good-as-new’ finish in just one pass.
The Magnum 82 SV boasts an impressive 8.2 cubic metre hopper capacity and a large 4300 litre water tank capacity. This makes it the ideal machine for road construction tasks, such as road planing, as the operator is able to work on remote job sites without having to regularly tip the hopper or refill water.
The SV Option Range includes full-width rear suction, which is configured with PU lining, to deliver excellent performance for road surface dressing. This application requires reliable, durable rear suction nozzles to collect road dressing surplus without using the vehicles brushes or side nozzles. This powerful option delivers impressive suction performance and has been designed to achieve a trusted finish.
The Magnum 82 SV can be configured with a range of options to deliver high pressure water across the sweeper. This vehicle can be fitted with a fully articulated fixed, or demountable, front spraybar. This can slew left/right to offer exceptional high pressure water coverage. In addition to this, the Magnum 82 SV can be fitted with additional wing spray bars on the suction nozzles and rear suction nozzles.
To deliver this, this sweeper is available with a choice of HP water pumps to deliver different capacities of water flow:
- 93 l/min @ 210 bar
- 122 l/min @ 160 bar
The Magnum 82 SV is available with full-width rear suction nozzles that are configured for water recovery. Once high volumes of water have been dowsed onto the road surface, this rear suction configuration is designed to suck the standing water into the hopper of the sweeper.
The Magnum 82 SV can deliver a heavy stream of water from a jet mounted to the front of the cabin. This is designed to clean debris that has been collected on the pavement or, in heavily populated areas, washing the road suface under parked cars.
These can be controlled with manual values or electronically within the cab (depending on options selected).

As standard, the Magnum 82 SV is mounted to a 18 tonne GVW chassis with a large 8.2 cubic metre hopper, a 4300 litre water tank and a payload potential of up to 10,000kg.
