A leading manufacturer of road sweeping solutions and a member of the Fayat Group, SCARAB is proud to announce that its earnest commitment to the environment, to its employees and to society at large has been officially recognised with Silver Medal status from EcoVadis, the foremost evaluative body for sustainable and ethical business practices.
Headquartered in Marden, United Kingdom, but with a robust global market presence, SCARAB has been a leading manufacturer of truck mounted road sweepers for 45 years. A guiding principle behind its many revolutionary concepts, including pioneering the single engine truck mounted road sweeper, has always been a respect for people and planet. Today, the success of this focus has been formally acknowledged with the award of a Silver Medal from EcoVadis.
Committed to Prioritising Environmental Protection, Ethics, Labour and Human Rights Practices and Sustainable Procurement
Through continuous improvement of its policies, procedures and operational practices, SCARAB is committed to continuing to drive for stringent standards across the board in environmental, social and corporate governance.
This notable accomplishment is, nonetheless, just one more milestone in SCARAB’s ongoing focus on "Caring for a Clean Future". Speaking on behalf of the company, Olivier Collineau, Responsible for Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) at Fayat Cleantech, said: "We're proud of this achievement and what it means to all our stakeholders, but we're not resting on our laurels. This recognition shows that we're on the right road, and I'm confident that we can all build on the fine work that we're doing."
