The Magnum U72 has been expertly engineered to deliver unrivaled vacuum sweeping results across all heavy-duty sweeping applications.

Available with Scarab’s single-engine unidrive configuration, this powerful sweeper is suitable to be mounted to a chassis in the 33,000 to 40,000 lbs range. The Magnum U72 is available with a 10yd³ hopper, offering a payload potential of up to 19,850 lbs, and can be fitted with a water capacity of up to 600 gallons. This makes the Magnum U72 the perfect solution for operators looking for exceptional performance and impressive on-task endurance.

INNOVATIVE UNIDRIVE CONFIGURATION

SCARAB’s Unidrive solution uses a transmission Power Take-Off (PTO). This set-up enables the fan and gear pumps to be configured onto a switchable PTO off the side of the gearbox to power sweeping functions.

The Magnum U72 control system manages engine speed to deliver optimal sweeping performance.

LIFETIME HOPPER WARRANTY

The Magnum U72’s hopper is completely manufactured from corrosion and abrasion-resistant 4003 stainless steel. The hopper is shot blasted, a two-pack epoxy primer is applied and a hard-wearing topcoat provides a premium finish. The particulate screening is hinged and swings down to provide access to the operator for cleaning.

FLEXIBLE BROOM COVERAGE

The Magnum U72 is available in both single and dual sweep, covering an impressive 126” span when working with both side brooms deployed. The brooms can be used at variable speeds and the swiveling widesweep gives the operator complete control of sweeping functions.

The optional third broom increases sweep coverage and is perfect for tasks such as weed ripping, without having to use any harmful chemicals.

Intuitive Control

The intuitive CANbus controls and a colour monitor provide comprehensive feedback to both the driver and service team. The clear display indicates the sweeping configuration and vehicle condition - while also highlighting warnings and service reminders. Our real-time monitoring and data logging provide valuable assistance in troubleshooting technical problems and help keep your machine running at its most efficient.
