Setting Up Your Account
First-time users of Scarab’s Webshop are encouraged to contact our Parts Department to create their login credentials. Once created, users can freely access the webshop whenever they need to place an order.
15-minute online tutorials are also available to train users how to get the most out of the tool, upon request to a member of the Parts team.
Getting Started
Once logged in, users can find the part required by using the handy search bar or browsing through the Electronic Parts Catalogue for their machine requirements.
As well as the search bar and the EPC, the home page of the webshop also provides links to recommended spare parts, service kits, order lists, contact information, After Sales news and more.
Placing an Order
When the required part has been located on the site, simply click on the item, adjust the quantity and click the ‘TO CART’ button – this will add the part to the basket. Users can also check stock availability on the part page by hovering over the stock circle. The indicator will display green if the item is in stock, or grey if it is currently out of stock.
The ‘MY CART’ button in the top left-hand corner of the webshop allows users to browse all the items in a cart before proceeding to payment. At this point, the items in your cart can be saved as an ‘Order List’ or exported (if the same parts are regularly being ordered). This means that the next time the user visits the webshop, they can quickly upload your requirements and place an order efficiently.
Once the user has clicked ‘PROCEED TO CHECKOUT’, they simply need to select a shipping address and the type of service they require. If some of the required parts are out of stock, users can simply select whether they would like everything to be delivered together or to send the parts that are currently available straight away.
